Dear Ambassador Rice,
On September 17, 2012, the following organizations sent a letter to the Permanent Representatives of the Member States of the UN Human Rights Council urging them to “respond to the needs of victims of human rights violations in Sudan by supporting the strengthening of the current engagement of the Human Rights Council on Sudan and to ensure that the mandate established by the Council can appropriately document human rights abuses and report back to the Human Rights Council.”
